Located in the heart of Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula, Bay de Noc Community College (commonly known as Bay College) provides a rich tradition of quality, higher education opportunities. Founded in 1962 by the citizens of Delta County, Bay de Noc Community College opened its doors to students in the fall of 1963. From its modest beginnings of approximately 200 students, the student population now approaches 2000 students registered for credit courses. Students enroll in programs of study that include career certificates, associate degrees, transfer credentials and degrees, and community leadership opportunities.
Bay College expanded into Dickinson County and beyond in the late 1970s, opening a West Campus in 2007 located on the north side of Iron Mountain. In addition, our Workforce Training division hosts more than 5,000 visits each year in a variety of conference, training, and meeting activities.
