SURG 111 - Surgical Specialty/Professional Preparation

This course focuses on preparing the student for life-long learning. Emphasis will be placed on advanced technologies, the future of tele-surgery, the operating room ten years out, and advances in specialty surgeries. Preparation for the national certification exam will be provided in a review of core components. Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of 1st semester of the Surgical Technology Program.
