CMAC 204 - Medical Assistant Review and Practical Credit(s): 2 Contact Hours: 4
This course is designed to serve as the capstone course for the Certified Medical Assistant program. This course contains a lab component and is focused on evaluating students, achievement of end of program student learning outcomes and preparing students to successfully challenge the Medical Assistant Certification Examination. The MAERB Core curriculum and the Master Competency list will be utilized to evaluate students’ level of preparedness for the exam and validate attainment of end of program student learning outcomes. This is a “Pass/Fail” course. Prerequisite(s): CMAC 104 , CMAC 106 , CMAC 108 , CMAC 110 , and officially accepted into the Certified Medical Assistant Certificate program and following the required sequence of courses. Concurrent: To successfully complete the program, the student must maintain a grade of “C” or better in all Certified Medical Assistant program courses & demonstrate a minimum of 100% attainment of all psychomotor & affective domain competencies.
