BIOL 232 - Biotechnology Lab II

This course is a continuation of BIOL 231. Topics to be covered will include carbohydrate isolation and analysis, Spectrophotometry, Chromatography, pH and buffers, recombinant DNA and transformation, and cell culturing. The students will be expected to adopt the strategies and methods used to develop experiments, analyze collected data, and apply the results. Throughout the course, emphasis will be placed on laboratory safety techniques. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in BIOL 231
