NURS 2370 - Obstetrical and Pediatric Nursing Skills

This laboratory course is designed for the second year Associate Degree Nursing student. This course emphasizes the development of Registered Nurse skills related to care of the obstetrical, neonatal, and pediatric patient population. Students will learn entry level skills to provide competent nursing care for this specialized population within the framework of family centered care. Prerequisite(s): Must have a “C” or better in BIOL 2760, NURS 2120, NURS 2140, NURS 2160 and PSYC 2010. To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of a “C” or better, in all program specific general education courses & required program courses. Concurrent: NURS 2350, NURS 2390
