NURS 2160 - Application of Adult Acute Care Nursing Credit(s): 2 Contact Hours: 6
In this clinical course, students will apply content learned in NURS 2120 while providing patient-centered care to adults in the acute care setting. Emphasis is placed on safety, interprofessional collaboration, teamwork, and the use of evidence-based practice and informatics to support clinical judgment and safe practice. Prerequisite(s): Must have a “C” or better in BIOL 2140 , HLTH 2060 , NURS 1040 , NURS 2020 , NURS 2030 , NURS 2040 and NURS 2080 . To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of a “C” or better in all program-specific general education courses & required program courses. Concurrent: NURS 2120 , NURS 2140
