NURS 2140 - Adult Acute Care Nursing Skills

This laboratory course builds upon knowledge and skills presented in NURS 2040 and NURS 2120. It is designed to develop the cognitive, affective, psychomotor, communication, and assessment skills necessary to provide safe, effective, evidence-based, patient-centered care to the adult population in the acute care setting. Prerequisite(s): Must have a “C” or better in BIOL 2140, HLTH 2060, NURS 1040, NURS 2020, NURS 2030, NURS 2040 and NURS 2080. To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of a “C” or better in all program-specific general education courses & required program courses. Concurrent: NURS 2120, NURS 2160
