PMED 230 - Paramedic Pharmacology I Credit(s): 2 Contact Hours: 2
Provides the student with information necessary for the preparation, calculation of doses, and administration of drugs used in the pre-hospital setting, including classification, action, use, and side effects. Information about other commonly prescribed drugs is also provided. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Paramedic Associate in Applied Science, following the course sequence “C” or better in all program courses. Corequisite(s): PMED 212 , PMED 220 , PMED 242 , PMED 250
