CHEM 202 - Organic Chemistry II Credit(s): 4 Contact Hours: 6
The second semester of a two semester organic chemistry course designed to meet the needs of science students. The course covers a survey of spectroscopic techniques, including Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy, nomenclature and reactions of various organic functional groups, including alcohols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and their derivatives. Prerequisite(s): “C” or better in CHEM 201
