NURS 2220 - Advanced Nursing Theory Credit(s): 4 Contact Hours: 4
This lecture course reviews and builds on previously attained nursing knowledge, skills, and attitudes in further developing an understanding of the RN role related to patients experiencing complex health. Students will broaden their understanding of effective application of the nursing process and further develop clinical judgment in providing competent nursing care to patients across the lifespan. Prerequisite(s): Must have a “C” or better in NURS 2180 , NURS 2200 , NURS 2350 , NURS 2370 , NURS 2390 and NURS 2450 . To progress in the program, the student must maintain a grade of a “C” or better, in all program specific general education courses & required program courses. Concurrent: NURS 2240 , NURS 2260
