This course incorporates previous knowledge gained in PMED 212 and gives the student instruction on prehospital emergencies including: assessment and management of trauma and medical patients, environmental conditions, principles of triage, management of mass casualty incidents, and telecommunications. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Paramedic Associate in Applied Science, following the course sequence & a “C” or better in all program courses. Corequisite(s): PMED 225, PMED 235, PMED 247, PMED 255
