PMED 212 - Paramedic I Credit(s): 4 Contact Hours: 4
This course provides information about the pre-hospital management of medical conditions at the advanced life support level. Emphasis is placed on pathophysiology, recognition of signs and symptoms, review of basic life support management techniques, anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, and strategies for advanced life support care. Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into Paramedic Associate in Applied Science, following the course sequence and “C” or better in all program courses.
