Bay de Noc Community College offers a wide range of education and development opportunities that serve our students, local employers, and community members seeking to expand their professional and personal skills and interests. Apprenticeships
Bay College brings faculty and industry together to develop instruction that fits the unique needs of each employers registered apprenticeship. Registered apprenticeships align college coursework with on-the-job experiences provided by the employer, to ensure the employee makes connections between the classroom and the workplace. Our team also works cooperatively with industry partners to offer a variety of intern/co-op opportunities. Not only do our students benefit from hands-on learning, additional income and professional relationships, but employers are building their workforce pipeline.
Our Community
Community members looking to develop their skills for employment opportunities, start a new career path, or explore new areas of interest for fun, will benefit from our non-credit workshops, classes, and programs. Community members of all ages can participate either on Bay College’s campus or through our educational online provider ed2go. Whether you want to learn a new language, improve your computer skills, or expand your knowledge about a topic of interest Bay’s non-credit offerings have something for you.
Facility Rental
Our versatile space is perfect for meetings and presentations, conferences, trainings, receptions, and more. Bay College offers competitive room rental rates for businesses interested in using our facilities in Escanaba or Iron Mountain. Non-profits are able to rent our space free of charge.
