Bay de Noc Community College offers a wide range of educational and development opportunities that serve our students, local employers, and community members seeking to expand their professional and personal skills and interests.
Community members looking to develop their professional skills to seek better or new employment can be trained through our non-credit programs. We offer online interactive training and certification programs, as well as safety, manufacturing, leadership, and health care.
Community members of all ages can participate in lifelong learning and professional training courses, either on Bay College’s campus or through our educational online provider Ed2Go. Whether you want to learn a new language, develop better computer skills, or expand your knowledge about a topic of interest Bay’s lifelong learning offerings have something for you.
Local Industry & Business
Area businesses can request customized training programs that equip their employees with specific skills to move their business forward or to stay up-to-date on certifications and new or emerging industry practices. We offer a variety of trainings that can be customized in areas that include manufacturing, safety, service industries, and health care. Whether your organization is emerging or established, delivering high-tech or hands-on products or services, Bay’s customized workforce development solutions will maximize your training investment.
Our team also works cooperatively with industry partners to offer a variety of intern/co-op opportunities. Not only do our students benefit from hands-on learning, additional income and professional relationships, but employers are building their workforce development pipeline.
Conferences & Seminars
Individuals and businesses seeking professional development, continuing education and state and nationally recognized Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for professional licensing will benefit from Bay College’s comprehensive conferences and seminars. A variety of conferences and seminars across numerous and diverse industries are currently offered, including the Upper Michigan Safety Conference, Dental and Optometry Continuing Education Seminars, Bay West Leadership Conference, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Conference.
