Bay College Alumni Association - 13,000+ Strong

You will be among the distinguished group of Bay College Alumni upon attaining your degree or certificate from Bay College. Bay College encourages all graduates to stay involved with your college as active alumni. Stay in touch and keep Bay informed of your successes - it will encourage and motivate others!

There are many ways to stay involved, including mentoring and hiring Bay College alumni. Other ways include:

Make a Gift. The Bay College Alumni Association supports a scholarship awarded annually to an academically deserving student who has achieved a minimum of 24 credits. Bay accepts educational gifts to fund the Alumni Scholarship at all times.

Attend an Event. Bay College invites all new graduates and alumni to attend an annual spring celebration event held Thursday evening the week of commencement in May.

Nominate Alumni. Each year, a Distinguished Alumni of the Year is honored, recognized at the annual Awards Dinner and speaks at commencement the following year. Nominate successful classmates online at www.baycollege.edu/alumni or by emailing alumni@baycollege.edu.

Bay College Foundation - Investing in Education

The Bay College Foundation is the friend and private fundraising arm of Bay College, providing opportunities for individuals, families, friends, businesses, organizations and foundations alike to support student success via educational gifts. Private funding is critical to propel the mission of the College, contributing to student scholarships, program development, community arts, campus enhancements/expansions, and overall learning environments.

With such generosity, the Foundation manages and awards over 300 student scholarships for academic excellence and financial assistance, totaling over $350,000 in awards annually. Students need to apply for Foundation scholarships each year via the scholarships application process online: www.baycollege.edu/scholarships.

It is not just about money - It is about providing an opportunity for people to become the best they can be and to realize their greatest potential, today and into future generations.

Today, the Foundation manages over $10M in assets. Since its very beginning in 1972, scholarship support for academically deserving students and students with financial barriers has been a priority. Foundation scholarships benefit thousands of students, many times increasing opportunity to students who often have the least access to higher education.

Participate in an annual golf outing, campaigns, and other events held to support student success. Such, along with major and estate gifts, have made possible building expansions, technical enhancements, educational innovations, art acquisitions and campus improvements otherwise impossible. Directed and in-kind contributions of equipment, materials, books, artworks, people power and the like also improve the overall educational environment and experience.

We invite you, your family, friends, and employers to be part of the success. Such support helps position the Foundation to continue assisting students and learning environments, making a difference for future generations. Information on opportunities to participate in Foundation programs is available online: www.baycollege.edu/foundation, e-mail foundation@baycollege.edu or phone 906.217.1700.

Bay de Noc Community College is an independent, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation to solely support educational opportunities for Bay College, its students, and the community. EIN#38-2161915
