3013 Credit by Demonstrated Competence Policy

It shall be the policy of Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to provide opportunities for students to transfer knowledge and skills acquired in an occupational environment, or through life experience, or in another educational environment, into college credit.  Instructional Administrators shall be responsible to determine whether credit should be awarded for demonstrated competency and/or proficiency through an approved examination developed by an instructor, or through a national or state examination.
