3009 Course Substitution Policy

It shall be the policy of Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to allow a substitution of courses required for an Associate Degree or a Certificate when the learning outcomes of the substituted course are similar to those of the original course and can be assessed as part of the program outcomes. This substitution does not reduce the total number of required hours for a degree or certificate.  Instructional administrators shall be responsible for monitoring compliance with this policy.
