2015 New Construction Policy

It shall be the policy of the Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to plan for the new construction of college facilities when the facilities are deemed necessary to meet the needs of the College.

The Board shall approve the project funding and authorize the contracting of services for program planning, architectural design, and/or construction management prior to the commencement of any project.

The Board discourages construction on the campus by outside agencies or organizations, unless the conditions under which the property was deeded to the College are met and the purposes of the College are advanced by such construction.

All contracts for the purchase of goods or services shall comply with the College’s purchasing policy for bidding.
