It shall be the policy of Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to offer associates degrees and certificates to recognize students’ successful completion of programs offered by the College. Requirements for obtaining degrees and certificates awarded by the College will be published in the current College Catalog. The College reserves the right to make changes at any time to the academic requirements pertaining to the awarding of degrees and certificates. In some instances, degree or certificate requirements may change during a student’s course of study. In these circumstances, the student’s academic advisor may, at the sole discretion of the Academic Deans, waive new requirements and grant the student a degree or certificate under the previous requirements. Students meeting the qualifications as stated in the College Catalog may be awarded more than one degree.
Programs of study are approved by the Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees, as recommended by the President, and as developed by the faculty and administration in Academics. Individual courses are also approved by the Board of Trustees. Faculty and Academic Administrators will oversee the process of course and program development.
