ARTS 210 - Art and Welding

Designed for both beginners and experienced artists, the course Welding and Sculpture explores various welding techniques while encouraging students to develop their unique artistic voice through metal sculpture and design. Students will learn essential welding methods, including MIG, Oxyfuel cutting and brazing, and Plasma Arc Cutting while gaining hands-on experience in fabricating metal art pieces. Emphasis will be placed on safety, tool usage, and material selection, ensuring a solid foundation for all projects. Winter - 7 week course
