This course examines the major religious traditions of the world and the variety of cultural forms that influence the expression of those historic faith-based experiences. Each religious tradition is studied and analyzed historically, thematically, and structurally for comparison as well as contrast. Selected areas of inquiry will include Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and various other religious movements. Meets Social & Behavioral Science and Humanities requirements. This is an Honors course which requires additional work and academic rigor. Prerequisite(s): E, R, and acceptance into the Honors Program
